Recruiting and Sourcing Specialist Job description

Summary/Objective:  

The Recruiting and Sourcing Specialist is responsible for successfully managing, prioritizing, and closing multiple client searches against a specific timeline, simultaneously; developing and managing partnerships with clients and prospective candidates; and setting benchmarks and metrics as appropriate. This role involves effectively managing heavy outbound and inbound candidate interactions as well as administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  •   Drive the full lifecycle of the search process including: partnering with clients on position definition, search strategy and candidate requirements, developing recruiting strategies, obtaining qualified candidates, navigating offers and negotiations, etc.
  •   Maintain reporting/tracking and analytical data regarding all facets of the hiring process and pipeline
  •   Use social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs
  • Maintain daily outreach and active networking to develop the company’s brand and create a proactive candidate pipeline
  •   Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
  •   Create job specifications, assessments, scorecards, and other supporting documentation in collaboration with the hiring manager
  •   Assist in devising a market mapping and research strategy to build and maintain a pipeline of key talent in anticipation of future needs
  •   Ensure an overall positive candidate experience by establishing good rapport and communication from the initial phone screen through to the first day of employment 
  •   Stay abreast of top recruitment market trends

 Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in full cycle recruiting or phone sales preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, as well as previous experience working with and     managing an ATS and CRM
  • LinkedIn Search expertise with BOOLEAN search experience (LinkedIn Premium, LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn Sales Navigator for sourcing)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands with the ability to prioritize tasks, as well as be self-motivated and persistent
  • Must be extremely adaptable and flexible, with the ability to remain productive, efficient, conscientious, and collaborative under pressure with tight and competing deadlines
  • Exceptional active listening skills with the ability to effectively advise and influence clients
  • Excellent communication skills; phone, verbal and written, including a high degree of professionalism with the ability to be a high energy, passionate, champion for the company
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including accurately keeping track of client, candidate, and engagement information and timeline
  • Successful candidates will have a team focused, positive attitude

Working Hours:

  • Must be available 8 am to 2 pm EST time, with flexibility to respond to urgent client emails until 5 pm est.
